Finjagården offers small-scale and highly specialized treatment for adults with personality disorders, neuropsychiatric disabilities, depression, substance abuse, self-harm behaviors, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, and trauma/PTSD.
We also conduct psychiatric assessments. Using structured treatment methods such as DBT, ACT, CRA, Unified Protocol, as well as other CBT methods and trauma models like PE, EMDR, and WET. Evidence-based treatment methods and high treatment intensity are complemented by a quality system to ensure documented treatment results with follow-up for clients, relatives, and commissioners to create transparency, involvement, and security.
Our 55 years of experience combined with evidence-based treatment methods give us good conditions for achieving results.

We are looking for you with experience working with people who have mental health issues and also suffer from substance abuse problems.

Finjagården is an operation with long experience that actively works with development, where we together create a learning organization from the staff and client perspectives.
As a therapist, you work closely and integrated with our other functions from a biopsychosocial perspective. The internal functions you collaborate with are our unit managers, nurses, psychiatrists, treatment coordinators, psychologists, and our treatment coaches. As a therapist, you have both internal collaboration with other functions and external collaboration with our commissioners.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities consist of individual therapy sessions, supervising treatment coaches, and leading group treatments that we offer.
Together with other therapists, you share the responsibility of being on call for phone duty for clients and staff according to our routine. The responsibilities also include administration such as documentation and record keeping, writing case formulations, and treatment summaries for commissioners.
Both internal and external supervision is provided at the workplace.
About the Job
Good staff care is important to us, therefore the operation offers training days and team days during spring and autumn, wellness benefits, occupational health services, and massage.
As a therapist, you work Monday-Friday 08:00–17:00, with a one-hour lunch break. You will also have flexible working hours.
Qualifications
- 2-year post-secondary education or relevant university degree
- CBT Step 1
- Good experience working and documenting according to regulations
- Good Swedish in speech and writing
- Category B driver's license
Meritorious
- A few years of experience as a CBT therapist
- CBT Step 2
- Experience and training in DBT, ACT, CRA, and MI
- Experience working with substance abuse clients or individuals with criminal backgrounds
- Good analytical skills
- Interest in evidence-based methods and ability to absorb literature/training in English
- Experience working in residential treatment facilities
