We are currently looking for you who want to become a personal assistant for a child living with their family in Skövde.

What does this role involve?

As a personal assistant, you support a lively and happy child whose disability sets boundaries in everyday life. The tasks may include, among other things:

• Support during meals and personal hygiene
• Motivating and activating work
• Communication using signs and pictures

The child has autism and communicates without speech. Situations may arise where the child becomes aggressive, and it is important that you feel confident handling this in a calm and professional manner. Experience with low-affective approach (LA) is desirable.

The position is part-time with varying working hours (day, evening, and weekend). We are also looking for a summer substitute for the schedule and a substitute who wants to step in as needed.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and responsive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have experience working with clients with autism
• Have knowledge and experience of low-affective approach (LA)
• (Advantageous) Have a valid B driving license

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or alternatively a valid work permit.
