You are warmly welcome to apply for our integrated clinic Ungvux in Åmål Municipality. Here, we work co-located and side by side with, among others, the Youth Clinic (UMO), the clinic for young people's mental health (UPH), and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP). The outpatient care of Individual and Family Care primarily works with interventions without individual needs assessment (IUB), and our target group is children and young people aged 7-25 years and their families. The activity aims to promote secure upbringing conditions and strengthen parental capacity through early, preventive, and relationship-building interventions. Our work group received this year's working environment award during the spring for our commitment and active working environment work. We actively work with collegial support and development in the professional role through, for example, regular method forums and the use of FIT (Feedback Informed Treatment).

Your assignment

As a family therapist, you work with families who seek support themselves or initiate contact at an early stage. The work takes place in close dialogue with the family and is characterized by voluntariness, trust, and respect. The focus is on counseling, supportive conversations, and change work in everyday life. The work is characterized by a salutogenic perspective, and we use each other's competencies to match and build individual support with the possibility of complementary interventions such as dance for health, horse-assisted health, gym training, NADA, and tactile massage.

The interventions are not public authority exercises, but require good knowledge of the social services' mission and when collaboration or other interventions may need to be initiated.

• meet families in both individual and family conversations

Who are you

For this assignment, we see that you are secure, responsible, and driven. The work requires flexibility and that you have an easy time collaborating with others and are accustomed to preparing and leading various collaboration meetings. A prerequisite for succeeding in the assignment is that you are motivated by contributing to change. For this assignment, personal competencies are valued highly.

Formal competence requirements

• Social worker or other education/experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• The employment assumes that you have a B driving license
• Digital identification with Bank ID

Meritorious

Experience from change/therapy work with children, young people, and families (preferably with a focus on harmful use and addiction). Experience of working in the collaboration model Backa Barnet. We would like there to be a basic education in family therapy or similar with a systemic theoretical basis.

The employment

Fixed-term employment at 100% during the period 2026-08-24 - 2027-12-31.

The employment is currently placed at IFO outpatient care within the Welfare and Employment Administration, which is organized directly under the Welfare and Employment Committee. The nearest manager is the unit manager.
