About the role

Forsmark is one of Sweden's largest electricity producers, generating one-sixth of the country's electricity. Forsmark's vision is to deliver fossil-free electricity every day, all year round. As a Junior Engineer in electrical maintenance, this vision becomes clear as you are responsible daily for ensuring that electrical maintenance meets the quality required for safe and stable operations.

You will join the Electrical Machines department, where your responsibility, together with senior colleagues, is to monitor, develop, and maintain generators, transformers, and electric motors in the facility. The work is varied and includes both administrative and operational tasks. Operational work takes place primarily during annual revisions. You will also build a broad network with both external suppliers and internal employees at Forsmark.

Key responsibilities

• Plan maintenance measures for our main generators, transformers, and electric motors.
• Work on technical specifications for spare parts in collaboration with other units at Forsmark and participate in supplier contacts.
• Write various maintenance reports, perform analysis work, and participate in short- and long-term planning.
• Contribute to renewal processes and optimize and improve maintenance routines and methodologies.

We are looking for you who

• Hold a university degree or Master of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
• Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as this is required for communication and documentation.
