Who are we?

Tuppen is a preschool with five departments located in the Nordantill district of Norrköping, in close proximity to several parks, the river, museums, and libraries. Tuppen Preschool is a multicultural preschool located in an area with four preschools. The children's best interests are always in focus, and our education is characterized by development, joy, engagement, and playfulness.

Our teaching is based on the goals of the curriculum and aims to deepen knowledge for each individual child. For us, it is important that the entire day is permeated by teaching, both spontaneous and planned. Our teaching activities take place indoors and outdoors in accessible learning environments.

By listening, documenting, and reflecting on their learning together with the children, we create the best conditions for development. Your responsibilities

In this role, you have a specific responsibility for developing the preschool's work with aesthetic expression. Together with the principal, time is allocated, especially during the first year, to develop learning environments, prepare materials, and mentor colleagues in this area.

You work on creating inspiring learning environments and accessible materials that spark curiosity in both children and adults. The preschool's atelier, as well as the city's cultural environments such as museums and outdoor spaces, are used actively in teaching. You are responsible for developing and managing the atelier and integrating aesthetic expression into teaching and pedagogical documentation.

The role also involves participating in and contributing to systematic quality work, as well as driving the development of the activity in collaboration with colleagues and the principal. An important part of the assignment is to mentor and inspire colleagues regarding learning environments, aesthetic expression, and various techniques.

Your working hours will include scheduled shifts where both opening and closing of the preschool may occur.

Who are you?

You have a preschool teacher certification, and it is meritorious if you also have education as an atelier artist or equivalent.

You have experience using aesthetic expression in working with the preschool curriculum and making this visible in pedagogical documentation. Furthermore, you are accustomed to developing competence and mentoring colleagues regarding learning environments, aesthetic expression, and various techniques. If you have experience in artistic or aesthetic work, we view this as meritorious.

You have knowledge of how aesthetic expression can be used in teaching and subject-integrated work, and you can plan, implement, and follow up on teaching where artistic processes are included. You also have a good understanding of the properties of different materials and experience working with, for example, clay, watercolor, drawing pencils, carpentry, and recycling. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of pedagogical documentation and can lead the work team in systematic quality work.

As a person, you are engaged, creative, and have good pedagogical skills. You create joy and engagement at work, collaborate easily, and adapt the activity to the children's needs. You work inclusively and have a good ability to create accessible learning environments both physically, socially, and pedagogically. You have a professional approach towards children, guardians, and colleagues, and actively contribute to high-quality education.

We see that you are development-oriented, have digital competence, and a strong focus on each child's learning and development. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
