Interim Payroll Consultant within Swedish Payroll and SD Worx for a part-time assignment in Hässleholm, Skåne.

Are you an experienced payroll consultant, payroll specialist, or payroll specialist looking to take on a consulting assignment within payroll in Hässleholm, Skåne? We are now looking for a secure consultant within payroll, payroll administration, and SD Worx for a part-time assignment of approximately six months. The role is suitable for you who want to work closely with payroll processes, payroll runs, quality assurance, and improvement work. You will use your expertise in payroll to create structure, ensure correct payroll data, and support managers and employees in matters regarding holiday pay, shift pay, supplements, and discrepancies.

Your Responsibilities

In the role, you work operationally and consultatively with payroll issues, payroll administration, and the development of payroll processes. You follow up that the correct data is forwarded to an external payroll provider and ensure that salaries, supplements, and discrepancies are handled correctly.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Quality assure payroll data and documents in connection with payroll runs
• Ensure correct handling of shift pay, holiday pay, holiday quotas, and supplements
• Follow up on discrepancies and identify sources of error in the payroll process
• Answer questions from managers and employees regarding payroll, payslips, and holidays
• Support managers in the correct reporting of time, absence, shifts, and payroll data
• Analyze recurring problems and identify patterns in payroll administration
• Document payroll routines in the personnel handbook and leadership handbook
• Contribute to clear instructions for managers and employees
• Relieve HR of operational and structural issues related to payroll

Worth Knowing

This is a consulting assignment of approximately six months with immediate start. The scope is approximately 30 percent on average, and the assignment is located in Hässleholm, Skåne.

Initially, you need to be physically present for introduction and to understand payroll flows, routines, and contact points. Thereafter, the work can be done partially remotely with physical presence in connection with payroll runs or similar. Accessibility around payslips and payroll payments is particularly important.

The organization has approximately 110 employees, the majority of whom are unionized. Salaries are handled via an external party that runs the payroll, while your role is to ensure that the correct information is submitted, that payroll data is correct, and that discrepancies are followed up.

Our Expectations

We are looking for you who are secure and experienced in Swedish payroll and have worked as a payroll consultant, payroll specialist, payroll administrator, payroll specialist, or interim consultant within payroll. You have very good experience with SD Worx and understand how payroll processes work in a BPO solution where salaries are handled by an external provider.

You have good knowledge of payroll administration, payroll runs, shift-based salaries, holiday pay, holiday quotas, supplements, discrepancies, and unionized employees. You can analyze payroll data, find causes of errors, and explain what needs to be changed to make the salary correct.

As a person, you are calm, pedagogical, and structured. You can guide managers and employees in payroll matters, create understanding of the payroll process, and write simple instructions that make it easier to work correctly moving forward. You are clear in your communication and secure in conducting reviews, creating structure, and driving improvements within payroll.
