The Employment Unit (AME) in Härryda Municipality is organized within the business area "Härryda Future." Härryda Future aims to have the highest share of employed residents in Sweden. Through this initiative, various functions within social services, education, and business collaborate to ensure that all residents of Härryda Municipality can support themselves.

AME is a service provider that implements authority decisions and works on assignments from referring parties. In addition to coaches, AME's team consists of a unit manager, coordinator, employment caseworker, business coordinator, teacher, and administrator.

Participants are mostly referred to AME from the municipality's social assistance unit, but cases may also come from the upper secondary school, the coordination consortium, the municipality's adult education unit, and others. The unit is also responsible for coordinating the municipality's holiday practices, youth jobs, and youth services.

AME is currently in the midst of implementing a new process-based working method to increase efficiency. A vital part of this new approach is the BIP research, which is a comprehensive Danish study. AME is also preparing for the implementation of the Activity Requirement, which will start during the year. This assignment will also be integrated into the new working method.

We are now looking for a practical coach.

Your assignment

AME's coaches lead a range of different activities falling under the BIP research areas: Work, health, and socially related activities. The participant conducts progress measurements together with their employment caseworker, which serves as the basis for the coach-led activities that you lead.

We are looking for someone who can practically coach our participants in creative activities such as creative painting and kitchen operations. The assignment also includes leading various health promotion activities and group work training at private companies.

An important part of the coach's assignment is to motivate the participant to engage in the decided activities and to communicate the participant's progress to the unit's employment caseworker.

As a coach, you mentor adults and young people based on the caseworkers' assignments and the participants' individual needs. You work with participants primarily in group activities.

A vital part of the assignment is collaboration with colleagues within the coaching group as well as other colleagues at the unit.

Requirements for the position

We are looking for someone who:

• Has education that the employer finds relevant for the assignment.
• Has experience working with creative activities such as creative painting and kitchen operations.
• Has a Category B driver's license (manual transmission).

Merits include:

• Experience from working in a municipal employment unit.
• Knowledge of the BIP research and the ability to apply it in your work.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also be required depending on the position.
