About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with whatever arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is an 11-year-old boy who lives with his family and siblings in Liljeholmen. We are now looking for a summer substitute who has previous experience working with children with disabilities and who enjoys working with children.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Previous experience working with children with disabilities.
• Good knowledge of Swedish.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is a summer substitute position spanning weeks 28–31, with approximately 14 hours per week. The working hours are primarily scheduled during the day, usually from 14:30–19:30. However, times may vary, and there is an opportunity to agree on a schedule based on needs and availability.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.
