We are now looking for a Labour Market Coach for the Unit of Labour Market, Integration, and Economic Assistance.

About the Unit

The Individual and Family Department consists of three parts that work closely together: Children and Youth, Adults, and the Labour Market (Ame), Integration, and Economic Assistance Unit. At the Labour Market, Integration, and Economic Assistance Unit, there is one unit manager, 4 labour market coaches, 3 work supervisors, 2 integration coaches, and one administrator. In Economic Assistance, there is one senior social secretary and 3 social secretaries. We work to strengthen and support individuals to achieve self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

As a Labour Market Coach, you work to support individuals receiving social assistance and who are outside the labour market, helping them move towards work or studies with the goal of becoming self-sufficient and independent. Your task is to support, motivate, and guide participants towards employment, studies, and increased independence.

Among other things, you will:

  • Coach and motivate participants individually and in groups
  • Identify strengths, needs, and goals
  • Create and follow up on action plans
  • Support job searching, CV writing, and interview training
  • Lead workshops and group activities
  • Collaborate with employers, the Swedish Public Employment Service, healthcare, and other actors
  • Document and follow up on interventions according to the organization's routines

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social work, social pedagogy, or another education deemed suitable by the employer
  • Experience working with labour market measures, coaching, or similar activities
  • Good knowledge of the labour market and society's support measures
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Good digital competence

Merits include:

  • Experience working with individuals far from the labour market
  • Knowledge of collaboration between authorities, such as social services and the Swedish Public Employment Service
  • Knowledge of how different authorities work, such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, social services, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and how their processes interact
  • Good proficiency in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and the ability to express yourself clearly and correctly
  • Knowledge of other languages

A driver's license is required.
