We are looking for a teacher for Grebo School and After-School Center!

Grebo School is located in a beautiful natural area with a view of the lake, 20 km from Linköping and 15 km from Åtvidaberg. Here, students attend from preschool class up to grade 6. One of our success factors at the school is the high level of well-being that exists among both staff and students. Our prioritized goals and focus are to work for increased goal achievement and increased school attendance among students.

The school also includes Grebo After-School Center, where the activities are designed to complement the school both in terms of time and content. Grebo Preschool, School, and After-School Center work on the principle that all children are given the same opportunities; we are all different but equally valuable.

Your responsibilities

As a substitute teacher, you will work both at the school and at the after-school center. During school hours, you will work at the intermediate level, primarily in grade 4, where you will support students throughout the school day in close collaboration with the teaching teacher. You will collaborate with other staff regarding adjustments for students to support them in reaching as far as possible based on their prerequisites. School hours also include supervising breaks and pedagogical meals. In the afternoons, you will work at the school's after-school center, where you, together with colleagues, offer students varied activities both indoors and outdoors.

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher and have previous experience working with children.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have the ability to create good relationships with other people by being attentive, showing empathy, and respect. You should be able to motivate others and empower them by giving advice, support, and opportunities for development. We see that you adapt easily to changed circumstances. You also have a good understanding of individuals' different prerequisites and how humans acquire knowledge.

About the employment

The position is a substitute role with 100% employment. The substitute period lasts for 6 months starting on August 10, with the possibility of extension.
