Welcome to us
We are two therapists working full-time providing support interventions for children and young people with problematic school absenteeism, both individually and together with their guardians, as well as in collaboration with schools and other key stakeholders. We offer supportive, motivational, and therapeutic conversations with the goal of increasing school attendance, strengthening the child's mental health, and creating sustainable strategies for a functioning school life.
We possess the competence to work from several perspectives regarding school absenteeism, such as mental health, neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF), social issues, and other underlying causes, with the aim of creating change and giving children and young people better conditions to reach their full potential.
We work based on the individual needs of the child and family, which implies flexibility in the work. An important part of our work is collaboration with the school's student health team in both municipal and independent schools, as well as with e.g., BUP, HAB, and other organizations.
What some of our employees say
”My work as a school-approaching therapist is varied and relationship-building, with a focus on strengthening children's and young people's school attendance. I work in a wonderful team with a positive atmosphere and a developing work environment. Together with the Norrtälje school social team, school staff, and BUP, we collaborate to create long-term and sustainable changes.”
