Mini-Maria Göteborg is hiring a Social Worker

Mini-Maria Göteborg has three clinics. Two clinics at the primary care level targeting young people up to 21 years old with drug and/or alcohol problems. One clinic at the specialist care level targeting young people and young adults aged 14–21 with harmful use, dependence, and psychiatric comorbidity.

At our clinic for young people and young adults with harmful use, dependence, and psychiatric comorbidity, Mini-Maria Resource Clinic, we now need to strengthen our team with a Social Worker (Socialsekreterare). You will be employed at Mini-Maria Göteborg and belong to the Social Administration Centre (Socialförvaltning Centrum), but your workplace will be at Mini-Maria Resource Clinic. Mini-Maria Resource Clinic is located in the Nordost area at Väverigatan 13, Building B2.

All Mini-Maria clinics operate in collaboration with shared responsibility between the City of Gothenburg and the Region of Västra Götaland. The overarching goal of these three units is to counteract alcohol and substance use among young people.

Job Responsibilities

You will have extended responsibility for collaboration with the systems surrounding the young person, for example with social services, schools, family/relatives, and other actors who are or need to be present in the young person's life.

You will collaborate with other team members and the designated care contact regarding the young person and their relatives, and you will work with parental support measures and support for relatives.

You will work with the young people we meet when social interventions are needed, for example, youth contracts, discussions regarding criminality and other vulnerabilities.

You will participate in the operational development taking place at the clinic. This may involve actively working with parent groups and relative groups in the long term.

The role includes working outwardly and in collaboration with other existing resources for young people and relatives within the target group.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
• 3 years of work experience in the profession as a Social Worker
