Who will you work with?

We are currently looking for a sensitive and competent assistant for a cheerful and social 27-year-old young man who enjoys meeting people, going to the cinema, listening to music, traveling, swimming, or doing outdoor activities. He needs support with most aspects of daily life, such as transfers, meals, hygiene, communication, exercise, and activities. He uses a wheelchair and does not have spoken language, but communicates in his own way. Sometimes double assistance is required, both at home and during activities.

When you work with us, you become part of a lovely and dedicated workgroup consisting of people of varying ages. Many of them have worked with him for several years.

Scope of the position

We are looking for an assistant who can work during the summer, approx. 2–3 shifts/week between weeks 28–30. We would appreciate it if you could also step in as needed before and after these weeks. You will work with varying hours, including days, evenings, and nights (on-call). Some shifts are 24-hour shifts.

You will be offered an introduction and thereby have the opportunity to shadow a number of shifts. We would like to start the introduction as soon as possible!

Who are you?

We are primarily looking for someone with experience in similar work, but the right personal chemistry is the most important factor. It is an advantage if you are a positive, active, and strong person with a great sense of humor and high empathy. We appreciate that you are proactive and enjoy coming up with new ideas.
