Welcome to our fantastic team!

The unit belongs to the Social Support Department within the Social Services Administration. Here, promotional, preventive, and open interventions for residents in various life situations are gathered. With the new social services legislation, we have great opportunities to develop working methods, interventions, and collaboration moving forward.

Job Responsibilities

As a group manager, you lead, plan, and distribute the operational work within your group. You support employees in their daily work, ensure quality, and monitor that operations are conducted in accordance with legislation, guidelines, budget, and policies. You have personnel responsibility and conduct, among other things, employee and salary interviews, as well as handle personnel matters in close cooperation with the unit manager. You also have some responsibility for the work environment.

An important part of the role is to drive development and change. You contribute to translating strategic goals into practice, developing working methods, and creating conditions for a sustainable, learning, and attractive work environment.

You will work in close co-leadership together with your fellow group manager. Co-leadership provides good opportunities for support, shared responsibility, and exchange of experience in everyday life. It creates better conditions for reflection, development, and sustainable decisions while you together drive operations forward.

The role of group manager is both developmental and varied. You get the opportunity to have a real impact on operations, work closely with engaged employees, and contribute to creating support measures that make a difference for the residents. No day is like the other, and you get to combine leadership, development work, and collaboration in a meaningful assignment.

The assignment involves close collaboration with, for example, healthcare, probation services, authority enforcement, and other internal and external actors.

State in your application which of the groups you are applying for. It is also fine to state if you are interested in both positions.
