Your Role

As a personal assistant in Nacka Municipality, you will support and strengthen the customer's opportunity to live an independent and self-sufficient life based on the individual's needs, interests, and conditions. This includes everything from personal hygiene and care to activities and actively working for a meaningful and stimulating life. The work is varied, and you will primarily work with one customer. The duties also include some documentation.

You will work according to a schedule, and working hours vary depending on the customer, but may include days, evenings, weekends, and nights. Naturally, you will receive an introduction before you start working.

Your Experience

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• turned 18 years old
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• good physical ability

It is an advantage if you have:

• previous experience working in healthcare and social care, personal assistance, or alternatively in child and youth activities
• completed education or are studying within healthcare and social care, or child and youth activities with a focus on pedagogical or social work
• Category B driver's license
• experience with documentation and computers

Is this you?

As a person, you are loyal, responsible, sensitive, and keen on providing good service. Since you usually work alone, it is important that you are independent, have personal maturity, and a genuine interest in working as a personal assistant. You need to be flexible and solution-oriented.

About Us

The Care & Assistance Service is a municipal operation that works on behalf of the Social Services and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in Nacka.
