Hällestad School is a rural school just outside Finspång. Approximately 190 students in grades F-6 attend the school. The school also has a leisure center (after-school care). Hällestad School is characterized by safety, knowledge, and joy. The staff at the school are highly engaged and collaborate closely to create the best possible conditions for the students' safety and learning. The school's student health team works actively and closely with students and educators.

Your future responsibilities

You will be part of the leisure center's work team. You will be responsible for planning the leisure center's activities together with a colleague. You and your colleague meet during joint planning time every week to set up the work with the group. The role also includes some resource time in the classroom for individual students or small groups. There is also an opportunity to join the school's safety team together with the school staff and student health services. The position includes some hours in the morning leisure program.

Leading and organizing your work and that of your colleagues to create a pleasant and safe learning environment for the students. You work effectively with digital tools as a lever for learning. You will also learn and develop together with others and see the value of collegial learning, where you view experience exchange as valuable for your own professional development.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified lower secondary school teacher in leisure centers. We would like you to have previous experience working with children with special needs, as well as knowledge and experience of low-affective handling. It is important that you are well-versed in the school's curriculum and that you are a secure person with an approach that aligns with the school's value base. Since we work in teams, your ability to collaborate and be adaptable is important. We value that you are structured, engaged, and communicative, as we work in teams that require close collaboration with students' parents and teaching teachers. You find working with students stimulating and have a positive view of students, meaning you assume that students can and want to. You build trusting relationships with students and guardians. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Start date: August 3rd or by agreement.
