What does the role entail?

I am a man in my 30s living in Tidaholm, and I am looking for someone who wants to work with me. My interests include bowling, wheelchair dancing, playing electric hockey occasionally, using the computer, "having a coffee break," and going on excursions. I need help with most household tasks as well as personal care.

We are currently seeking personal assistants for my work group who can work full-time and part-time (approx. 75%). The shifts are distributed across day, evening, and night (on-call night) duties, on weekdays and weekends, with varying schedules, so you should be able to work at all times of the day.

About you

I see your qualities as an assistant to be empathetic, driven, flexible, and willing to help me in my daily life. You must be a non-smoker. A driver's license is an advantage as the car is used for activities.

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful daily life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being. The most important factor is the personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may be decisive in the final selection.

Requirements:

• You are a non-smoker,
• You have fluent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Driver's license category B (manual transmission),

Scope: Full-time 100% and part-time approx. 75%. Number of positions: 2. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements. Upon Employment To be employed by us at Nordström Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID document as well as a valid certificate of personal data (personbevis) and/or any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. Due to the fact that the role may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

If you are to work with this client, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
