We are now welcoming a nurse to Day Surgery Kristianstad (DayOp). Here, we have Mondays and weekends off, and we do not work nights. Interested? Then apply to us!

At Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK), we perform approximately 4,000 day surgery operations per year, of which about a quarter are children. DayOp has a total of approximately 19 beds, divided into DayOp A, which primarily monitors adult patients, and DayOp B, which primarily monitors children. Our team consists of specialist nurses, general nurses, and nursing assistants. In daily operations, there are always two anesthesiologists available. We also have a unique anesthetic clinic in Sweden where anesthetic nurses meet all day surgery patients prior to anesthesia.

We work on creating better flows for both patients and staff while offering you varied tasks with secure routines.

The Anesthesia/Operation/Intensive Care area operates at CSK and consists of central operation, day surgery, anesthetic clinic, postoperative ward, sterile technical unit, pain clinic, and intensive care unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who appreciate renewal, smooth workflows, teamwork, and the opportunity to develop the business. You will be part of a day surgery operation with varied tasks within surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, dentistry, and ophthalmology.

Here we work in a smaller organization with an accessible manager. You work daytime with some evening shifts. We offer you independent work with great variation within a broad operation business with patients of varying ages. You will receive an individually adapted introduction based on your previous experience. At our workplace, there is an opportunity for development and further education.

"I like to follow my patients, who can be both children and adults, through the day surgery process. When I go home for the day, I am finished with my work, and then new patients await the next time I work. I like my working hours and the schedule always works out," says Jessica, nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Additionally, we would like you to have a specialist nurse degree with a focus on anesthesia, intensive care, or pediatrics. If you have work experience from postoperative, anesthetic, or operating room care, it is an asset for the position.

You are structured and have good organizational skills, while also being able to prioritize your work based on changing circumstances.
