We are now looking for personal assistants for a young man in his 30s living in Halmstad. He has epilepsy and an intellectual disability and requires 24/7 assistance. He spends most of his time at home, and you will assist him with daily activities and household chores. Since double assistance is provided for a few hours each day, you should be comfortable working both in a team and independently.
Shifts are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends.
The ideal candidate has a genuine commitment to working with people and strives to ensure that the person receiving assistance achieves the highest possible quality of life. You thrive in a role where personal maturity, responsibility, and flexibility are valued. You should feel comfortable working closely with family members, as the person receiving assistance lives with their family.
Knowledge of epilepsy is an advantage, but not a requirement, as you will receive extensive on-site training.
