Description
Would you like to try an inspiring and varied assignment as a treatment secretary in the Adult Unit's service delivery team, Individual and Family Care in Vänersborg? If so, you now have the opportunity to do this through a temporary position within our outpatient activities! The target groups we meet include, among others, adults with various forms of harmful use and addiction, domestic violence, other violence/threats, defectors from criminal activities, and crime victims.
The Adult Unit consists of an investigation team and a service delivery team, as well as a unit manager. The daily work in each team is led and distributed by a 1st Social Secretary and two 1st Treatment Secretaries, who are also responsible for methodological supervision. We offer you a position with a well-thought-out introduction, continuous internal methodological supervision, as well as external process supervision. We also offer several benefits for you as an employee, such as the possibility of four trust days per year to strengthen the opportunity for reflection and recovery. In addition, we have a flexible working hours agreement. On our unit, we are keen to have a good, developmental, and pleasant work climate where we are proud of the qualified work we carry out to meet the needs of our clients.
Since we in Vänersborg want to have an accessible outpatient activity and since we know that many of the clients we meet need interventions even outside "office hours," all our treatment secretaries work scheduled working hours. For us, it is therefore important that you have a genuine commitment to the work and see the importance of being able to provide counseling support also in the evenings and on weekends, and that you have the conditions to work according to the schedule. As a substitute here, you have great opportunities to build contacts in the labor market and get a good insight into the entire work of our unit as well as Individual and Family Care in general.
Job Responsibilities
The Adult Unit's service delivery team is responsible, among other things, for carrying out various forms of outpatient interventions aimed at the target group of adults with harmful use/addiction and to some extent interventions regarding domestic violence. We will also increasingly meet young people/young adults with other forms of social problems. The basis of the work is psychosocial support and pedagogical conversations/methods, and as a treatment secretary here, you will work methodically together with other employees at the unit to make a difference in our clients' daily lives and lives. The service delivery team works largely with interventions without needs assessment (IUB) but also with assistance-assessed interventions. Regardless of how the intervention was initiated, it is the individual client's needs that determine how the work in each case is planned and carried out. In cases where an intervention is given based on an assistance decision, it is also the assignment from the unit's investigation team that gives direction in the case.
We expect you to take great responsibility for the organization, implementation, and quality of the work. You will also work according to the goals, guidelines, and legislation that apply to the activity and your position as a treatment secretary. In our organization, we are also very keen on ensuring that IFO's and the unit's relationship goals as well as the social administration's employee principles are followed.
As a treatment secretary, you work close to the client, and it is therefore important that you have a clear client focus and the ability to create good meetings and conversations with our clients. At our unit, we actively work with implementation plans and goal follow-up based on assignments, and we also prioritize follow-ups of approved interventions together with clients, social secretaries/investigation teams, and potentially other providers/actors.
Qualifications
To be qualified for the position, you need to have a three-year university education as a social worker, social pedagogue, or behavioral scientist (or another university education that the employer deems suitable for the position). If you have experience working with harmful use and addiction, domestic violence, or public authority practice, and e.g., training in MI, AP, HAP, CRA, or other support/treatment methods, it is meritorious, but not a requirement. You need to be able to work in a structured manner, have a genuine commitment to our target groups, and have a flexible and solution-focused approach.
The most important characteristics and abilities for this work are responsibility, independence, courage, and curiosity, and the position requires that you have a very good ability to prioritize independently and to collaborate in a team. Something that is fundamental in the work as a treatment secretary here is that you can express yourself well and nuancedly in both speech and writing, and that you enjoy documenting and are aware of the importance of documentation. You must also be able to complement and contribute to continued development and dynamics in the team and at the unit in general, so we will therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A driver's license (Category B) is a requirement.
If this sounds like a job you would like to test, you are warmly welcome to submit your application!
Interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
