About the Role

As a Financial Controller at Telenor IoT, you will work broadly with accounting, reporting, and ad hoc projects. This role suits you if you thrive in a dynamic environment focused on efficiency and digitalization. You will be part of a team of six people and report to the Accounting Manager. This role entails significant responsibility and excellent opportunities to actively influence decisions within the organization.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Handling complex financial issues
• Monthly and annual closing
• Ongoing bookkeeping, project accounting
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Monthly reporting according to IFRS
• Responsibility for annual reports and group reporting together with the Accounting Manager
• Close collaboration with the Business Controller team, HR, and other departments
• Responsible for contact with auditors and the audit process
• Identify and implement process improvements, including the use of digital tools and AI

Personal Qualities

Telenor IoT is looking for an ambitious, non-hierarchical, and solution-oriented person who is not afraid of change and enjoys taking ownership and driving things forward independently. You are analytical and thrive with broad contact areas.

Experience and Knowledge

• Relevant academic degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in accounting and reporting
• Extensive competence in financial analysis and accounting (K3 and IFRS), with great confidence in handling complex datasets and advanced models
• Basic understanding of group accounting
• Proactive work style with strong ability to efficiently lead and manage multiple parallel work streams
• Good Excel skills
• Highly meritorious with experience from scale-up companies, meritorious with experience from tech companies
• Highly meritorious with experience in integration work related to acquisitions
• Meritorious with audit background
• Meritorious with experience of Business Central

Location: Råsunda, Solna. Planned move in 2028 to Skanska's office building Olivin on Kungsholmen with services such as gym and bicycle hotel.
