The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic BUP Regional Specialized Clinic for Bipolar and Psychosis is part of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry BUP Inpatient Care and Specialized Clinics operational area, and holds regional responsibility for all of BUP Skåne. The clinic operates as a mobile team assessing and treating children and young people up to 18 years old with bipolar disorders and psychosis. Work takes place both at the clinic and at the patient's home.

The clinic is centrally located in Malmö, and the team consists of a psychologist, a counselor, a doctor, a nurse, two care assistants, a part-time physiotherapist, and a medical secretary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you who want to be part of a team that supports and helps each other! You will work with dedicated colleagues who have extensive experience working with our target group.

As a nurse, you are offered a varied role with a high degree of participation and responsibility, where the patient and their family are at the center. You are responsible for the psychiatric nursing care for the patients to whom you are the primary contact, and you participate in medication, assessment, treatment work, as well as planning and collaboration with care partners, schools, social services, and others. Here, we work interdisciplinary, planning interventions with the team based on patient needs. We work both at the clinic and mobilely throughout Region Skåne.

As a nurse at the clinic, you are also responsible for ensuring that pharmacological follow-ups with lab samples are conducted according to our guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 on the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. A valid B-driver's license is required for the position. Specialist education in psychiatry is considered an advantage. Similarly, it is an advantage if you have completed basic training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Step 1. We also prefer that you have experience with the documentation system Melior.

To succeed in your role, you are flexible as a person, while also being able to set your own boundaries based on established routines and decisions. You have an ability to see the big picture, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage and prioritize when the pace is high. You value work characterized by personal responsibility, participation, and independence.

To thrive in this role, it is important that you are receptive, have good communication skills, and are confident in your professional role. Since we work in teams, we expect you to have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work climate. You are responsible and enjoy working both individually and in teams.
