At Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK), we perform approximately 4,000 day-surgery operations per year, of which about a quarter are for children. DayOp has a total of approximately 19 places divided into DayOp A, which primarily monitors adult patients, and DayOp B, which primarily monitors children. Our work group consists of specialist nurses, general nurses, and nursing assistants. In daily work, there are always two anesthesiologists available. We also have a unique anesthetic clinic in Sweden where anesthetic nurses meet all day-surgery patients prior to anesthesia.

We work on creating better flows for both patients and staff while offering you varied tasks with secure routines.

The Anesthesia/Operation/Intensive Care area operates at CSK and consists of central operation, day surgery, anesthetic clinic, postoperative ward, sterile technical unit, pain clinic, and intensive care unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who appreciate renewal, smooth flows, teamwork, and the opportunity to develop the operations. You will be part of a day-surgical operation unit with varied tasks within surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, dentistry, and eye care.

Here we work in a smaller organization with an accessible manager. You work daytime with some evening duties. We offer you independent work with great variation within a broad operation unit with patients of varying ages. You will receive an individually adapted introduction based on your previous experience. Here there is opportunity for development and further education.

"I like to follow my patients, who can be both children and adults, through the day-surgery process. When I go home for the day, I am finished with my work, and then new patients wait the next time I work. I like my working hours and the schedule always works out," says Jessica, nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a registered nurse with permission to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Additionally, we would like you to have a specialist nurse degree with a focus on anesthesia, intensive care, or pediatrics. If you have work experience from postoperative, anesthetic, or operating room nursing, it is an advantage for the position.

You are structured and have good organizational skills, while also being able to prioritize in your work based on changed circumstances.
