Job Description

Working in the preschool is a challenging, exciting, and creative job carried out in close collaboration with colleagues in work teams. Trumman Preschool is centrally located in Gällivare. The surrounding area consists of apartment buildings and villas, as well as various service buildings such as a swimming pool, ice rink, library, museum, schools, and beautiful natural park and forest areas. It is within walking distance to the city center and to schools such as Hedskolan and Sjöparksskolan. The preschool has four age-segregated units: a 1-2 year unit, a 3-year unit, a 4-year unit, and a 5-year unit.

Responsibilities

As a childcare assistant, you will, together with the rest of the work team, carry out activities planned according to the Swedish National Curriculum for the Preschool (Lpfö).

Qualifications

Childcare assistant education or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Personal suitability is given great weight. Within the framework of the National Minority Language Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

An extract from the police criminal record is required upon employment.

Working Hours/Duration

100% temporary position starting from 2026-08-03.

Monthly salary according to agreement, and we apply individual salary setting – please state your salary expectations.
