- You analyze financial outcomes, identify deviations, and drive proposals for improvements and measures.
- You are a close and valuable support to managers regarding financial management, costing, internal control, and follow-up.
- You produce clear and relevant reports, decision support documents, and pedagogical presentations for the management team and the Municipal Executive Board.
- You actively contribute to developing and streamlining/digitizing working methods, processes, and internal control.
- You are responsible for coordinating and conducting direct procurements – from needs analysis to contracts and follow-up.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a university or college education in economics as well as experience working with budgeting, follow-up, forecasting, or similar financial management tasks. You have strong analytical skills and can explain economic relationships in a simple way. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Excel and are accustomed to working digitally. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
It is meritorious if you have experience as a controller or qualified economist, preferably from the public sector or a politically governed organization. We also view experience in operation-oriented financial management and managerial support positively, as well as experience working in operational systems such as Stratsys or Visma RoR. Knowledge of procurement and purchasing is also considered an advantage.
Personal Qualities
To succeed in this role, you are analytical and structured, with a good ability to see the big picture and connections. You are pedagogical and communicative in your work style while being independent and taking responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you are team-oriented, have an easy time building good relationships, and are driven by developing working methods and finding solution-focused approaches.
