Åstorp is a beautifully located town with proximity to both Söderåsen, the coast, and city life. Good bus and train connections make commuting easy, and about half of our employees commute daily from places such as Helsingborg and Ängelholm, located just over 20 miles away. Starting in February, we merged our operations with Söderåsen, which will become a branch of Åstorp Health Centre. Together, we are approximately 60 employees with broad and solid competence, strengthening each other and developing together. One health centre under two roofs. We offer a doctor's office with specialists in general medicine, district nurse services, specialist clinics, dietitian, counselor, psychologist, and the family centre which includes Child Health Care Centres (CHCC). We also have a rehab team consisting of physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as REKO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves standard duties for a nurse in primary care. You will work with telephone triage, digital triage, and reception work where you meet patients with varying care needs. You perform independent assessments, provide advice, and work closely with other professions at the health centre to ensure good and patient-safe care.

The position is a fixed-term assignment (acting role) from 2026-09-01 to 2027-11-13, with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Previous experience of working in primary care is meritorious.

As a person, you have a good attitude towards patients, colleagues, and partners. You are responsible, flexible, and have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you enjoy working both independently and in a team and contribute to a positive work climate. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
