We are now welcoming a specialist physician in gastroenterology to the Gastroenterology Clinic at Ängelholm Hospital.

The hospital is centrally and beautifully located next to the Rönne Å river, with the train station and city center just a few minutes' walk away.

The Medical Department (VO) consists of three inpatient wards, outpatient clinics such as rheumatology, neurology, lung and allergy, gastroenterology, cardiology, diabetes and endocrinology, nephrology and dialysis, as well as a day-care medical ward.

The Gastroenterology Clinic works in a cross-professional and team-based manner, where we value a good work environment. We strive for all different professional categories to contribute to the patient's best health, safety, experience, and well-being. The clinic operates in outpatient care and is a well-functioning unit with an established team of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We are also responsible for teaching and supervising medical students. The Gastroenterology Clinic handles the investigation and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, including investigations and care after liver transplantation.

Over the past few years, the Medical Department has successfully recruited many pleasant specialist colleagues, and we can currently boast that we are fully staffed in all sections except for the gastroenterology and cardiology sections, despite the hiring freeze in Region Skåne. We who work here enjoy working at this smaller hospital. The medical group meets almost every day, the cohesion and collegiality are good, and we have an open and informal atmosphere.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes outpatient clinic work, endoscopic activities, gastroenterology consultation, and participation in on-call duties. We work in teams, so the role involves close collaboration with other professional categories on the gastroenterology section. You will have the opportunity to develop through stimulating interactions with your colleagues in the entire team and with patients. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you are a licensed physician and specialist in gastroenterology with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement.

You have good professional knowledge, are confident in your role as a physician, and recognize the individual needs of each patient. Furthermore, you have a flexible approach that provides the prerequisites for planning and carrying out your workday in the best possible way.

As a person, you are good at listening, are responsible, and clear in your communication. You have good collaboration skills and are happy to exchange knowledge and experiences with others in the work group, as well as having an interest in education and research.

You take responsibility for your work in an engaged manner and with a positive attitude. You see opportunities in changes and are willing to take initiative for improvements in the operations from a holistic perspective. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
