About the position

Personal assistance is an intervention under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a 33-year-old woman living in Liljeholmen. Due to a spinal cord injury, she uses a wheelchair and needs support from personal assistants to manage her daily life.

She works part-time in the mornings, usually from home. As her assistant, you will be by her side and provide the necessary support so that she can manage her work and daily life smoothly. After work, she enjoys relaxing at home, preferably by watching movies or series.

Your duties include helping her with personal care, household chores, and support during activities and work.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and calm. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish

• Non-smoker

• Good physical condition to perform heavy lifting

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary

The current form of employment is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with an employment percentage of approx. 64%.

Working hours You work according to a rolling 2-week schedule where shifts are scheduled as follows:

• Week 1:

  • Monday: 00:00–08:00 (including on-call 00:00–07:00)

  • Tuesday: 08:00–08:00 (24-hour shift, including on-call 00:00–07:00)

• Week 2:

  • Monday: 08:00–17:00

  • Friday to Saturday: 17:00–08:00 (including on-call 00:00–07:00)

  • Sunday: 08:00–00:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other allowances are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date according to agreement.
