Björklinge School is a grades F-5 school located approximately 2 miles north of Uppsala. The school has around 510 students and is divided into four different buildings. The school is situated in a beautiful natural environment with proximity to lakes and bathing areas, a lit jogging trail, a small ski slope, an ice rink, and a library. The proximity to forests and lakes is frequently used as part of the teaching.

Description of Duties
The current placement will be in grades 4-5. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with the curriculum (Lgr22). The role includes creating a structured, safe, and inclusive learning environment where all students are given the conditions to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. You actively work on adapting teaching based on students' different needs and use formative approaches to support learning and progression.
An important part of the job is to continuously assess and document students' knowledge as well as to communicate their development with students and guardians. You collaborate with colleagues in work teams and subject teams to develop teaching and contribute to the school's joint development work. The role also involves having clear pedagogical leadership, working for study environment, and building good and trusting relationships with students and guardians.
You actively participate in the school's systematic quality work and collaborate with student health services and other staff as needed to create a holistic approach to the student's learning and development. The role also involves integrating digital tools as a natural part of teaching and contributing to a modern and accessible learning environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have teacher certification with eligibility to teach in grades F-6.
You are self-motivated and take responsibility for your tasks by structuring your work yourself and driving processes forward. You are flexible and adapt easily to changing circumstances, while seeing opportunities in change. You are goal- and result-oriented and work focused towards set goals, with a clear focus on results in your priorities and actions. You have good collaboration skills and work well with others by listening, communicating, and contributing to constructive solutions. Furthermore, you are relationship-building and build and maintain good professional relationships through an open and professional approach.
