Job Description

Are you a licensed occupational therapist who is passionate about the intensive rehabilitation process? Do you want to be the crucial link that enables a person to return to an active life after surgery? Then we are looking for you to join our Home Rehabilitation Team in Landskrona!

About the Role

In the Home Rehabilitation Team, we work with patients who need a focused and intensive training period. This may involve people who have undergone knee or hip joint surgery or similar orthopedic procedures. We meet many patients who have suffered from stroke or other neurological diseases. Our goal is clear: to help the patient regain their functions and independence at home through joint efforts.

As an occupational therapist with us, you are an expert in analyzing and enabling daily activities. You look not only at what the patient can do, but how they can do it safely and effectively in their own environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Activity Assessments: You conduct home visits and analyze how the patient manages their daily life after, for example, surgery.
• Targeted Training: You design and carry out intensive interventions focusing on training the ability to manage personal care, household chores, and mobility.
• Assistive Devices & Adaptation: You trial and follow up on technical assistive devices that facilitate training and make daily life safer during the healing process.
• Motivational Conversations: You coach and motivate the patient to dare to challenge their limits.
• Teamwork: You work in a tightly knit team with physiotherapists and rehabilitation assistants where we jointly plan and evaluate each patient's journey.

Qualifications

You have education and/or experience in:

• Occupational therapy work within healthcare and social care
• Assessment, rehabilitation, and prescription of assistive devices
• Documentation and work in digital medical record systems
• Category B driver's license for manual transmission

You may have experience in:

• Work within municipal healthcare
• Collaboration with other healthcare providers and actors
• Treating people from different cultures and understanding cultural differences

• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish
• Is confident in your professional role and has a good attitude towards others
• Has good collaboration skills and is easy to build good relationships with
• Is solution-oriented, responsible, and structured
• Has a genuine commitment to quality and the individual's participation
