Here is a job opportunity as a personal assistant for a happy and calm young man who lives with his father in Hökarängen every other week. For the right person, there is an important part-time role available to cover shifts when regular staff are sick or on leave, with the possibility of more hours. This is a perfect job for students who want to work extra hours on weekdays and weekends.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, communicative, and caring. In your role as a personal assistant, you will be an important part of our client's daily life. Your workplace is in the client's home, which means you will also work closely with the family. You will assist him by helping with structure and routines in his daily life, taking initiative, and providing encouragement and support for an active leisure time. The client enjoys bathing, working on his computer, going on outings, and playing around.

The Assistant's Role and Experience

You must be at least 18 years old. You are calm and persistent, with great patience and an understanding of what it is like to live with autism. You are a secure and stable person with both feet on the ground. As a personal assistant to our client, you must always be one step ahead, be attuned to the client's needs, and be solution-oriented. You enjoy taking initiative and can act quickly if the situation requires it. A big plus is if you have a good sense of humor and have kept your inner child.

You also need to be patient and allow things to take their time sometimes. Most importantly, the personal chemistry must be right, and you, along with the rest of the team, must want to create conditions for development and make every day valuable.

Desirable Experience

• Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
• Knowledge or experience of autism and support symbols (stödtecken).
• Experience in care work.
• Experience working with children with disabilities.
• Non-smoker.

Working Hours/Employment Degree

• Hourly work – extra shifts as needed when regular assistants are on sick leave or vacation.
• Varying working hours. Mornings, afternoons/evenings on weekdays and weekends as needed.
• You also have the opportunity to work extra during school holidays, weekends, and other leave periods.

About Salary

• We apply salary according to the Fremia Collective Agreement.
