Central Hospital Kristianstad (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northern-eastern Scania. Here, emergency care is provided 24 hours a day. CSK combines the resources of a large hospital with the proximity and community spirit of a smaller one. The hospital offers healthcare within most specialties to the inhabitants of its catchment area. We have approximately 2,600 employees.

The Business Area Anesthesia Operation Intensive Care Kristianstad operates at CSK and consists of the Surgical Ward, Anesthesia Clinic, Intensive Care Unit, Postoperative Ward, Pain Clinic, Sterile Technology Unit, and Day Surgery.

We are approximately 40 employees, and our team consists of nursing assistants, general nurses, and specialist nurses. The postoperative ward consists of 13 care beds for patients who have undergone surgery or other procedures requiring some form of anesthesia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now welcoming a nursing assistant to our Postoperative Ward. Here, you will have a varied job alongside dedicated colleagues. As a nursing assistant, you work with pre- and postoperative care. In this role, you also work in our medical record and documentation systems, Melior and Orbit. A position on Postop involves day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. Additionally, you have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Experience from pediatric care, emergency care, and/or intensive care is meritorious.

We are looking for someone who is structured and has good organizational skills, while being able to prioritize in your work based on changed circumstances. For us, it is self-evident that you are meticulous in your role as a nursing assistant, that you take care of patients based on their different needs, and give them good treatment. As a person, you are engaged, proactive, and open to new challenges and opportunities.
