We are now looking for dedicated assistant nurses (undersköterskor) for the home care services in Lund!

With us, you will have a meaningful job where you build close relationships and become an important part of people's daily lives. You support the elderly in their homes and contribute to them living an independent, secure, and active life – on their own terms.

You will become part of safe and engaged teams where we together create quality, continuity, and care in every meeting. To facilitate your workday, we work with modern and smart digital solutions, such as mobile security alarms, digital locks, and digital home care. You always have schedules and documentation at your fingertips via phone or tablet.

About the role and your responsibilities

Your work is guided by the individuals' needs. A workday may consist of providing support and help with personal care, nursing tasks, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance the person you support needs. Documentation takes place in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the operations and maintaining good quality.

Within home care, you work only day or evening shifts. Working hours are generally scheduled between 07:00–15:30 and 14:00–23:00. The work involves working every other weekend. We offer full-time positions (100%), which corresponds to 36 hours and 20 minutes per week.

With us, you have the opportunity to work in different roles. As a fixed care contact, you have a special responsibility for your users. You create and follow up on implementation plans. Our staff is organized in smaller teams where 2–3 fixed care contacts, together with a runner, are responsible for a group of users. The work is done in close collaboration, and if necessary, runners support other users outside their own group. As a resource, you work flexibly across several home care areas. You step in where the need is greatest and contribute security, warmth, and care to people who really need it.

We are looking for you who

• are trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska)
• can and want to cycle
• have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• have good digital competence

Experience of working within care is an advantage.

About the workplace

Lund Municipality's home care is divided into different home care areas, of which you will belong to a specific area. At each unit, assistant nurses and care assistants work in teams with healthcare personnel under the leadership of the unit manager. Each unit also includes a unit administrator, coordinator, and planner.
