The Rehabilitation Clinic for Children and Young People in Lund is a specialist unit within VO Habilitering. The unit comprises two interdisciplinary teams with medical, psychosocial, and pedagogical competence: The Habilitering Team, which serves as a resource to local habilitering units, and the Rehabilitation Team, which works with children and young people with acquired brain injury. We have specialized knowledge in nutrition, communication/cognition, urology/bowel therapy, and rehabilitation after acquired brain injury. The clinic operates on weekdays during daytime hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a secretary with us, your duties will include managing patient records, printing dictated notes, handling referrals, letters, and certificates. You will manage the administration for our clinics, book appointments, generate statistics, and support operations to ensure smooth workflows. You are also responsible for the unit's administrative service and information. If needed, you will also work in our financial systems regarding invoicing.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a completed education in healthcare administration (80p KY or 400p YH) or equivalent approved education as a medical secretary. Additionally, you have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills. We also welcome recent graduates to apply for the position. Since we work in different computer systems and databases, you need to be interested and knowledgeable in the area. Experience working in systems such as PMO, 1177, PASiS, Raindance, and/or QlickView is an advantage.

As a medical secretary with us, it is important to have the ability and enjoy working with various tasks in different areas. You need to be able to work independently, be proactive while remaining flexible. With a good sense of service and customer care, you have great significance for our patients. To succeed in the role, you also need to be meticulous and responsible. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
