Särnmark's headquarters are in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.
We are now looking for a secure, responsive, and engaged female personal assistant for a woman residing in Tyresö. This position is suitable for you if you enjoy working closely with people and want to contribute to creating security, independence, and quality of life in everyday life.
As a personal assistant, you work in the customer's home and where she spends her daily life. Your role is to provide support based on her needs and wishes, so that she can live as active and independent a life as possible.
About the position
The tasks vary and may include, among other things:
- Help with personal care and hygiene
- Support with mobility/transfers
- Cooking and household chores
- Support in daily activities and leisure interests
- Companionship and social interaction
The customer has an interest in music, quizzes, crosswords, and board games. She eats mostly vegetarian food and consumes fish, eggs, and dairy products, but no meat.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is:
- Responsible and reliable
- Responsive and empathetic
- Flexible and confident in working independently
- Positive and has a good attitude towards others
It is important that you have an understanding of brain injury and epilepsy. Previous experience working with people with these diagnoses is an advantage.
It is also an advantage if you:
- Enjoy cooking
- Have experience with assistive devices, such as hand and foot orthoses
- Have an interest in music, quizzes, and general knowledge
- Have a sense of humor and appreciate social interaction
Requirements
- You speak and write fluent Swedish
- You must not be allergic to perfume, animals, or cigarette smoke, as these are present in the customer's home
Employment
The position starts as a temporary hourly position with varying working hours – days, evenings, nights with on-call duties, and weekends.
For the right person, there is an opportunity for a permanent position later on.
