Do you want to work broadly with HR administration in a socially important organization where you contribute to the development of future sustainable living environments? We are now looking for an HR Administrator for the HR department at the University of Gävle.

About the HR Department
The HR department works both operationally and strategically, offering support and service to the organization in all HR-related matters. We are currently in an exciting development phase where we strengthen and further develop the University's HR processes.
As an HR Administrator, you work independently and are responsible for your focus areas, where you are expected to contribute to and influence the development of the operations. Here, you will become part of an engaged team consisting of HR specialists, an HR strategist, and the HR Manager. Payroll administration is handled by the State Service Center (SSC).
Job Responsibilities
As an HR Administrator, you will have a varied role with both operational, developmental, and coordinating tasks. The position includes among other things:
- Serve as secretary and administrative support to the Employment Committee.
- Work with administrative support in recruitment processes.
- Drive the development of administrative routines.
- Participate in the development of HR processes.
- Work in and provide system support for HR systems such as Primula and Grade - Kompetensportalen.
- Coordinate and administer internal training (Kompetensportalen).
- Handle employment contracts and other personnel administrative matters.
- Act as the contact person towards the State Service Center (SSC).
- Work as an intranet editor for HR-related content.
- Handle matters related to, for example, wellness and certain payroll administration.
The role involves many contact surfaces both internally and externally and requires structure, precision, and good service skills.

Qualifications
Required for the position:
- Degree from a Human Resources Management program.
- Experience of administrative HR work within a university or higher education institution in Sweden.
- Very good administrative skills and experience working in personnel systems.
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
Meritorious for the position:
- Experience collaborating with the State Service Center (SSC).
- Experience working as administrative support to an Employment Committee or similar.
- Experience working in the personnel system Primula.

For the position, you must be:
- Service-oriented with good teamwork skills.
- Independent, proactive, and responsible.
- Structured and precise.
- Pedagogical and communicative in your support to managers and employees.
