About the position

At Olivia, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant as a casual substitute for our client in Saltsjö-Boo. In the role of casual substitute, you are expected to work approximately 1–2 shifts per week and be available to step in when regular staff is absent. The position is to be filled immediately, and we would appreciate it if you could start your introduction as soon as possible.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 08:00-16:00 (weekdays)

  • 10:00-17:00 or 11:00-18:00 (weekends)

About the client

The client is a 19-year-old girl with autism and an intellectual disability. She lives at home with her family and attends day activities on weekdays. She is non-verbal.

The duties include the following:

  • Support with daily routines

  • Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

  • Mobility assistance

  • Practical support in everyday activities

About you:

We believe that you, who are applying for this position, are a warm and considerate person who enjoys meeting people and has a natural ability to put others' needs first. You are socially aware, reliable, calm, and confident in your role as an assistant. As a person, you are also solution-oriented and proactive, with a genuine interest in contributing to a sense of security. The client prefers female assistants!

Requirements:

  • Swimming skills and tolerance to chlorine

  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Employment level: Casual substitute Number of positions: 1 Start date: Immediately - interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and submit a tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the tax certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order it well in advance.
