Construction Manager for VA, HVAC, Ventilation and Control at Trafikverket

Kraftsam is now looking for an experienced Construction Manager for a long-term consultancy assignment with Trafikverket in the South-East region. The assignment covers construction management for VA (water and sewage), HVAC, ventilation, and control systems related to the operation and maintenance of Trafikverket's facilities.

The location of assignment is Jönköping, Kalmar, or Linköping.

About the Assignment

As a Construction Manager, you will work on assignments covering Trafikverket's facilities, including pumping stations on the main road network and electrical facility components at rest areas.

You will become an important support to the Project Manager and act as Trafikverket's representative in the assignment. The role involves technical, scheduling, and economic coordination, monitoring, and follow-up. You do not lead the production, but you play a central role in the dialogue between Trafikverket, contractors, and other actors in the project.

The assignment is full-time, equivalent to 100% (40 hours per week). The contract is for 2 years with the possibility of extension for an additional 2 + 2 years.

Responsibilities

In the role of Construction Manager, you will among other things:

• participate in and document construction meetings and other meetings in the assignment
• perform spot checks and field inventories
• check and update facility registers in GUS Maximo
• continuously monitor and evaluate the status of the facilities
• order operation and maintenance measures from contracted contractors
• be present at work that affects the facility's function
• follow up on ordered activities in existing contracts
• respond to incoming customer cases
• monitor and respond to the project team's shared functional mailbox
• keep your own diary
• review safety plans, project plans, work preparations, and self-inspections
• conduct ongoing risk inventories
• prepare tender documents for operation and maintenance contracts as well as reinvestments
• perform workplace inspections
• perform and review electrical design
• perform and review electrical inspections
• review technical documentation prior to the handover of new facilities
• check preventive maintenance
• perform condition assessments
• order communication equipment, e.g., PLC/NAVA
• manage systems such as GUS Maximo, Chaos, Projektportalen, and NAVA.

The responsibilities may change during the assignment based on the client's needs.

Requirements

To be considered for the assignment, you must meet the following requirements:

• At least 2 years of documented experience in a responsible or assistant role as a Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Inspector, or similar role within electrical installations.
• The experience must have been gained within the last 5-year period calculated from the last bid deadline.
• Technical education at least at upper secondary level, or experience that Trafikverket assesses as equivalent.
• Valid training in BAS-P and BAS-U.
• Valid training according to TDOK 2018:0371 APV Roles and competence in procured activities – Contracting and Design Services, step 2.1–2.2.
• Category B driver's license.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious Competencies

It is also important that you have, or can complete after contract start, the following:

• Documented knowledge of AMA, AB, and ABT, through course certificates or experience assessed as equivalent.
• Knowledge within SS-EN 50110-1.
• Training in GUS Maximo, Trafikverket School.
• Training in Chaos, Trafikverket School.
• Training in Projektportalen, Trafikverket School.
• Good knowledge of the Office package or equivalent.

The training must be completed no later than 3 months after contract start if you do not already have it.

About the Employment

You will be employed by Kraftsam and work as a consultant on assignment at Trafikverket. The assignment is long-term and full-time. Working hours are normally scheduled between 07:00 and 18:00, with a 40-hour work week.
