Primary care consists of 21 publicly run health centres, 1177, primary care rehabilitation, Family Health, and "One Way In" for children and young people with mental ill health. We are an organization in constant development, with the goal of being close to the resident of Kronoberg – throughout their entire life. Our mission is to create good conditions for our patients – so that the residents of Kronoberg receive the right care and treatment, at the right time, from the best possible competence.

Åseda Health Centre is located in Uppvidinge Municipality and has approximately 3,600 registered patients. Here, patients receive care and treatment throughout their lives, with specialized clinics for child care/family centre, elderly care, hypertension, asthma/COPD, and diabetes. In our work, we prioritize a good attitude, good accessibility, and always work with the patient at the center.

We work based on the goal of 1,100 registered patients per doctor and aim to create good continuity and accessibility for our patients and a good working environment for our employees. However, continuity in primary care cannot rest on just one person – teamwork is therefore central to us, and all professional categories in the team share a common responsibility for ensuring the patient is well cared for. Here, the team comes before the individual, and we work to create conditions for the team at the health centre to be there for the patient.

Job Responsibilities

We want to create conditions for you to focus on what you do best – being a specialist in general medicine and doing good for your patients. We work according to Right Use of Competence (RAK) and investigate which tasks can be performed by other professional groups. This has resulted in, among other things, medical secretaries booking and calling patients and managing medical processes. We also have nurse practitioner clinics and registered nurse clinics that, among other things, are responsible for following up with patients.

Currently, we are focusing on developing clinical pathways for major patient groups and working to develop new ways of working to care for the patients who need us most. We are also actively working on registering patients with a specific doctor to further improve continuity.

In addition to your regular work as a specialist in general medicine, you will:

• Be a driving force in developing and building the health centre of the future.
• Play a key role in developing and integrating preventive and health-promoting measures into care.
• Supervise trainee doctors, AT doctors, and ST doctors.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed district physician (Specialist in General Medicine).

As a person, you are unpretentious, clear in your communication, and have a good ability to structure and prioritize. You are team-oriented, solution-focused, and of course have a genuine interest in primary care. We value that you can meet different people based on their needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
