Job Responsibilities

Are you a licensed physiotherapist passionate about making a real difference in people's daily lives? Do you want to use your skills to create security, participation, and quality of life for older people?

This position involves, together with a licensed occupational therapist, responsibility for two of the city's care and nursing homes. The work is characterized by close collaboration, clinical reasoning, and a clear focus on creating meaningful rehabilitation in the patient's daily life.

In the role of physiotherapist, you are responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation efforts in our care and nursing homes. This involves promoting health, adapting the environment, and fitting assistive devices that increase individual independence.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Individualized Rehabilitation: Conduct functional assessments and create rehabilitation plans that make a difference in daily life.
• Assistive Devices & Adaptation: Fit, adapt, and instruct regarding assistive devices to increase security.
• Mentoring & Support: Educate and coach care staff to create a rehabilitative environment around the clock.
• Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and unit managers for holistic solutions.
• Documentation: Ensure quality and follow-up according to current legislation.

Requirements and Qualifications

As a licensed physiotherapist, you have the ability to plan and structure your work from a patient perspective. We see that you are responsible and can prioritize your work. The job requires that you have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. As a person, you are sensitive and have good empathetic skills. We are keen on finding the right person and therefore consider personal qualities to be more important than the number of years in the profession.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed physiotherapist
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Have good computer skills
• Master the Swedish language in both speech and writing

We document in the medical record system Lifecare and also work in other IT systems such as Mina Planer and WebSesam. Upon employment with us, you will receive introduction, training, and ongoing support in all IT systems used within the City of Landskrona. Previous experience with these systems is meritorious but not a requirement.

A satisfactory extract from the police criminal record must be presented before an employment offer is made.
