Do you want to help create opportunities for individuals to gain greater manageability, independence, and security in their daily lives? Do you enjoy and excel at creating connections with other people, share our values, and WANT to create opportunities for all the people we meet to develop beyond today's limits? Then we would like to get to know you a little better!

About Us

Arena för Utveckling is a private company within the care and social services sector, currently offering the services of supported housing (SoL) and day activities (LSS). We are located in several places around Stockholm and its surroundings. Here, we meet people with various psychiatric, neuropsychiatric, and intellectual disabilities, as well as adults who have acquired a brain injury. We work together to create joy, secure relationships, engagement, and opportunities. We truly care, learn together, and meet every individual here and now. Our work is driven by the vision of creating opportunities for all the people we meet to develop beyond today's limits, and together building an Arena for Development where You are Truly Important!

About the Role

For many of the people we meet, the home and daily life outside of any studies, jobs, or activities can represent the biggest challenge in life. As a supported housing coach here, you work together with our supported housing clients to create greater manageability, independence, and security in their daily lives. This can involve everything from being a support in collaboration with networks or creating routines for how and when to maintain the home, to creating the conditions for the individual to dare to take the step from home to another place in society.

We are looking for you

  • who can consider working part-time up to 80 %.

  • who has a secondary education within care and social services, or pedagogical and social work, e.g., secondary focus on care and social services, child and youth care, or assistant nurse.

  • who has experience working as a supported housing worker within SoL and/or LSS. Up to 5 years of experience is meritorious.

  • who is good at and enjoys creating connections with other people, has a pedagogical approach, and believes that TOGETHER is the key to development.

It is in the meeting between you and the supported housing client that opportunities are created and development can take place. Therefore, we place great emphasis on your personal competencies. Being self-assured, relationship-building, collaborative and solution-oriented, structured, and responsible are important personal tools to use in our work.

Are you interested?

Great! Send in a CV and answer our selection questions. We recruit on an ongoing basis. Those who best match the role will be contacted for a short phone screening, after which the next step is an interview and reference checks.
