The Opportunity

Digitalization, new regulations, and increased complexity place high demands on how organizations work with governance, risk, and control. More and more organizations need to strengthen their resilience, ensure regulatory compliance, and make better decisions in a changing risk environment.

Risk Consulting is part of EY Consulting and supports organizations in both the private and public sectors in managing strategic, operational, and regulatory risks. As a consultant with us, you will work on complex strategic, operational, and regulatory risk issues that help organizations make better decisions.

You will become part of the Risk Consulting team in Sweden and work in close collaboration with colleagues within Risk, Consulting, and other parts of EY – both nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Deliver client assignments within risk, governance, and control
• Design, implement, and further develop frameworks, processes, and controls
• Work on assignments within digital regulatory compliance, risk management, cyber and IT risk management, internal control (IC) and internal audit (IA), resilience and business continuity, as well as governance and management of AI-related risks

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree, for example in business, risk management, law, economics, IT, information security, or computer science
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from a management consulting role or similar advisory position
• Experience in one or more areas such as risk management, internal control and/or internal audit, IT or cyber risk, information security, or digital regulatory compliance
• Experience with regulations and frameworks such as ISO standards, NIS2, EU AI Act, ICFR, and ITGC
• Very strong analytical skills
• Experience working in international and multidisciplinary teams
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, and/or ISO certifications
• Experience in AI governance or related AI risk areas
• Experience in project management and/or sales and tendering work
