We are looking for you who want to take on a key role in our continued growth journey and who are motivated by growing further in your professional role within an international context. This is your chance to apply for one of Örebro's most stimulating and developmental controller positions!

About the role

In this role, you work closely with all functions and will have close dialogue with the site managers at our factories in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Poland. You work both proactively and operationally with follow-up, analysis, improvement work, and profitability issues. You are responsible for driving and executing quarterly and monthly closing processes and supporting the business with relevant economic analysis. Travel occurs between the companies and factories.

You report to our CFO, who is also based in Örebro.

Examples of tasks:

Other common tasks include working with standard costs and margin analysis, analyzing inventory and capital tie-up, and participating in budgeting and forecasting processes. We also expect you to identify, drive, and follow up on areas for improvement that lead to increased profitability and efficiency in production. The role also involves investigating investment materials, performing annual reports, and supporting and coordinating work during financial audits.

Who is the right fit for the role?

We see that our candidate has worked for 3–5 years within accounting, auditing, controlling, or similar fields and is now ready to take the next step. You are university-educated and have very good knowledge of Excel, with experience in ERP systems being a plus. We work with Infor M3/Monitor.

You have gained good experience with closing processes. Experience from manufacturing industry is meritorious, as is experience with group accounting. You have fluent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Equally important are your personal qualities. We see that you have strong analytical skills, are meticulous, and structured. Curiosity and the willingness to learn the business to perform various analyses and improvement proposals are central to the role. You have good collaboration skills and are naturally communicative. Independence, initiative, and responsibility are also very important traits. You thrive working in an international organization and have understanding and curiosity for different cultures.
