Do you want to work with a cozy family in Stenungsund during the summer? Here lives a lovely 8-year-old boy who needs skilled assistants. Are you the one we are looking for?

It is an advantage if you can start working now and then work in June, July, and August, and potentially continue with hourly work in the autumn.

Our client has a significant need for assistance, and we now need to strengthen the work group with several assistants during the summer while he is off from school. If we get along well, there is a great chance you will continue working hourly during the autumn.

We actively work with training and play, but also provide care such as hygiene and meals via PEG. He was born with a brain injury (microcephaly), developmental disability, and epilepsy. He lives with his mother, father, and older brother in Stenungsund. He requires double assistance 24/7.

The role and experience of the assistant

We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant and become an important and secure person in the boy's daily life. He thrives on close physical contact – preferably in the arms of someone who is calm and secure. As an assistant for this boy, you need to manage medication and know how to act during severe seizures and spasms. He also needs help with hygiene and training.

You will receive individualized introduction and training in all aspects regarding the client's needs and routines.

Desirable experience

• Nurse assistant / Nursing aide.
• Personal assistant.
• Experience with PEG.
• Experience with epilepsy (EP).

Working hours and employment percentage

• Hourly work – extra shifts as needed when regular assistants are on sick leave or vacation.
• During the summer (June, July, and August) to cover shifts when regular assistants are on vacation.
• Weekday hours: 08:00–14:20.
• Weekend hours: 08:00–15:00 and 15:00–21:00.
• Good opportunity for continued hourly work after the summer.

About salary

• We apply wages according to the Fremia collective agreement.
