Welcome to apply for a position at our children's and youth residential home, Hökällan! Here, children and young people between the ages of 13 and 17 can live. We are currently looking for support assistants for hourly employment or holiday cover. Applicants should have experience working with children and young people within the LSS target group.

As a support assistant, you base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the children and young people, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. You support, guide, and motivate so that the children and young people get the best conditions to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

As we are a 24/7 operation, both on-call shifts and night shifts occur depending on the needs of the children and young people.

About You

To succeed in this role, we see that you are clear, pedagogical, and driven by helping children and young people grow and develop. As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and have an easy time collaborating. You have the will and ability to follow the company's goals, vision, and values. You are proactive and sensitive to the needs of the children and young people.

We are looking for someone who has creativity, courage, and commitment to help us build a facility that best benefits our children and young people.

You should genuinely enjoy working with children and young people and understand low-affective interaction (calm and supportive communication).

We want you to have

• At least upper secondary education with a focus on treatment, behavior, or some form of care and/or pedagogy.
• Worked for a few years in SoL (Social Services Act) or LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations and have good knowledge of the target group.
• Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written).
• Good skills in documentation and computer use.
• A valid driver's license.

You should have knowledge and experience of clarifying pedagogy and low-affective interaction.

At Hökällan, we work with the operational support "Boet". Experience with this is a merit.
