About the positions

Legolas HVB is looking for substitutes for hourly employment as well as summer vacancies. The work takes place during daytime, evenings, nights with sleeping on-call duty, and weekends. We are also looking for substitutes for night watch duties. At Legolas, you work together with colleagues based on a daily structure to meet the needs of placed young people and the day's planning. Salary is agreed upon individually, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement. Start date is agreed upon.

Examples of tasks:

• Collaboration with colleagues
• Motivational work with young people
• Security-building measures such as supervision and care
• Documentation according to current legislation
• Treatment activities
• Practical tasks, e.g., cooking, cleaning, etc.

At Legolas, we work with low-arousal approaches and place great emphasis on the young person's participation.

About Legolas

Legolas is located in a residential area, centrally in Mölndal, and consists of two properties: Legolas, with 8 places for boys aged 14–18, and Legend, with 3 places in their own apartment for boys aged 18–21. The reasons for placement include social behavioral problems, difficulties in relationships, and/or social compliance.

Staffing is needs-based according to the number of placed young people, with at least two treatment pedagogues during daytime and evening hours, as well as a sleeping on-call staff member and a night watch. During daytime on weekdays, management functions are also present.

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, flexible, and confident in yourself. In this role, it is important that you show great empathy while having the ability to set boundaries in a soft manner. The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, so you must have good communication and teamwork skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be required before employment.

To apply for the position, you must:

• Be educated as a social pedagogue, social worker, treatment pedagogue, or have another completed post-secondary education of at least two years that the employer considers equivalent.
• Have experience in treatment work.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Have good computer literacy as several tasks are performed in various systems.
• Hold a B driver's license.
• Be able to swim.
• And: for night watch duties, previous experience is required.
