We are now looking for a certified teacher in Home and Consumer Studies to join Stenungsunds Montessoriskola.

Stenungsunds Montessoriskola is an independent school run by a non-profit economic association. Our school consists of two units: a preschool and a primary/lower secondary school (grades F–9), as well as an after-school center. We have approximately 210 students in grades F–9. The school is located in central Stenungsund, just a few meters from the bus and train stations.

You must be qualified to teach Home and Consumer Studies up to grade 9. If you have qualifications for after-school care or certification to teach other subjects, such as crafts, Swedish (grades 4–6), or English (grades 4–6), these can be combined. The teaching responsibility in Home and Consumer Studies accounts for 20% of the position. Depending on additional qualifications, the position percentage may be higher.

We are proud to be a Montessori school. We see that students' development, both academically and socially, shows excellent progression due to our use of Montessori pedagogy. If you have Montessori training, it is an asset, but it is not a requirement to apply for the position.

Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis. The position can be started as agreed, but no later than the start of the school year in August 2026.
