Assignment Description

We are looking for a senior Mainframe Specialist to support a large-scale migration and modernization initiative within the financial industry.

What You Will Work On

• Analyze existing mainframe environments, systems, and dependencies
• Support migration from Broadcom/CA technologies to alternative solutions
• Evaluate replacement tools, platforms, and modernization approaches
• Contribute to design and implementation of future target architectures
• Plan and execute migration and transition activities
• Support cross-platform communication and system integrations
• Work with scripting, automation, and operational tooling within mainframe environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, project stakeholders, and engineering functions
• Support rollout of new platform tooling and development environments
• Contribute to modernization of SDLC and CI/CD practices within mainframe ecosystems
• Ensure operational stability and controlled migration processes throughout delivery

What You Bring

• Strong experience working with IBM z/OS environments
• Knowledge of Endevor configuration and administration
• Experience with cross-platform communication and integrations
• Knowledge of mainframe and midrange scripting languages
• Experience with Mainframe Unix System Services (USS)
• Strong understanding of enterprise mainframe ecosystems and dependencies
• Ability to support large-scale migration and modernization initiatives
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience working within complex financial or enterprise IT environments
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
