We are looking for a Business Area Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for production in an established construction company with a long history, stable operations, and a strong customer base in Stockholm. This role is ideal for you if you have a solid background in construction production and thrive in an environment where business, people, and production go hand in hand.

As Business Area Manager, you will have overall responsibility for creating structure, progress, and the right priorities in production. You will work closely with the CEO and the management team, becoming a central part of steering the business both operationally and commercially. You will gradually be given significant authority and are expected to make your own business decisions regarding production.

The company primarily works with renovations and construction services for recurring clients in both the private and public sectors. The operations are largely driven through framework agreements and range from ongoing service tasks to smaller and medium-sized contracts up to approximately 20 MSEK, mainly in the Greater Stockholm area.

The organization currently consists of approximately 40 employees within production, including foremen, production managers, lead installers, and skilled workers.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Overall production planning and capacity utilization.
• Participate in decisions regarding which projects should be prioritized, calculated, and driven forward.
• Resource prioritization between ongoing and upcoming work.
• Be a driving force within the management team and influence the development of the business.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you with at least 10 years of experience from the construction industry, likely in a role such as Foreman, Business Area Manager, Project Manager, Production Manager, or Contract Manager.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Extensive experience in leading both projects and people.
• High business acumen and a good understanding of construction production.
• The ability to build trust both internally and externally.
• An existing network or own customer contacts are considered an asset.
• Experience working with framework agreements is important for the role. You have an understanding of how inquiries, call-offs, and ongoing project management work.
