About the assignment

Novare is a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now seeking an interim manager for a government agency in Stockholm.

As an interim manager at the agency, you will act as the acting head of one of the agency's units. The role includes responsibility for personnel, operations, and budget. You will become a key part of the agency's work, where development and change management are in focus.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their leadership. You are communicative and clear in your leadership style, able to maintain direction, motivate your employees, and remain calm and constructive in complex situations.

Requirements for the position

• Relevant academic degree
• Several years of experience as a manager with responsibility for personnel, operations, and budget
• Extensive experience from the Swedish civil service, preferably in areas such as grant funding, culture, and nature
• Practical experience in change management
• Experience leading experts and the ability to handle different perspectives and opinions regarding the assignment

Meritorious requirements for the position

• Practical experience with legislation regarding cultural heritage management and other laws regulating societal planning

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time, starting in August/September, and lasting approximately 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension. The location is at the agency in Stockholm.
